LP – Conference Planning
Committee
This Planning Committee assists the NRF in
planning the Loss Prevention Conference and
Senior Executive Summit each year. The team
reviews proposed session submissions and may
provide input and guidance throughout the
year about various logistical aspects of
these and other future NRF Loss Prevention
events.

The Diversity Committee was developed to
promote inclusion and diversification in the
loss prevention industry.

LP - Education Committee
This committee is a true working group of
industry professionals who are committed to
explore and develop the best possible
avenues toward improved industry education
and the promotion of the loss prevention
industry. This group will participate in
on-site visits to universities, the creation
of brochures and recruitment literature, and
in developing long-term relationships with
various loss prevention programs and
educational groups to support / develop
educational courses and credentialing
programs.

LP - Homeland Security
Committee
The Homeland Security Committee was created
to provide expedited & reciprocal access to
critical information on weather emergencies,
man made crises like active shooters and
terrorist attacks, as well as, other updates
between local, state and Federal agencies
and retail loss prevention professionals.

Network
This group of over 1,250 loss prevention
professionals and federal, state and local
law enforcement officials meets annually as
an entire group and twice a year in six

Retail Crime Task Force
The Joint Organized Retail Crime Task Force
(JORCTF) has a primary focus of developing
standard training and awareness programs for
retail loss prevention professionals and law
enforcement officers.

This group was developed to help identify
and establish LP priorities to set the
legislative agenda of the industry. In
addition, this subcommittee compiles

LP – Benchmarking
Committee
The Benchmarking Committee is responsible
for the development and maintenance of loss
prevention research, studies, surveys,
benchmarks and trends that will assist loss
prevention professionals in the development
of their loss prevention programs. This
committee will collaborate with industry
professionals, various universities and
other research groups to establishing a
repository of information for loss
prevention professionals on the NRF’s member
website.
